The applicant withdrew this request. They will install slats in the chain link fence

Dear Michele:
Sherburne County respectfully requests that their variance application (V99-11) be withdrawn from
consideration.
At this time, the County will provide vinyl slats in the perimeter fence to comply with the screening
required by the City of Elk River ordinance. The 6' -0" fence is scheduled to be installed on October 5,
1999. Screening will be installed in the fence on the east property line, beginning at the southeast comer of
the site and continuing north along the adjacent residential property. The portion of the fence on the south
and west property lines will be constructed without vinyl slats. However, these areas of the fence will be
designed for future installation of vinyl slats. At the time of residential development south of the County
property, vinyl slats will be installed.
I have enclosed an updated landscape plan for review and approval.
