ELK RIVER TOWN BOARD MEETING
April 5, 1938
Board of Town of Elk River met at Elk River at Nine oclock A.M. and proceeded to view the Town
roads traveling a distance of 60 mi with J.W. Playles car. Meeting at the site of Orville Bernards
proposed 3 rod cartway at two oclock P.M. for to reconsider the petition of Orville Bernard and
other for cartway.
After discussing the cartway and arriving at the damages said petition was granted. The amount of
damages being as follows
O.P. Bernard - None
C.T. Robbins - $37.50
H.R. Moyer - $50.00 plus changing fence
O.J. Jacobson - $15.00
Damages to be paid as follows
O.P. Bernard - $51.25 and 80 rds of wire
Town of Elk River - $51.25 and 80 rds. of wire
Posts to be furnished by O.P. Bernard
