PROCEEDINGS OF THE ANNUAL TOWN MEETING
TOWN OF ELK RIVER
March 10, 1942
The Annual Meeting of the Town of Elk River was called to order by the Clerk.
H.R. Moyer was elected Moderator.
Minutes of last annual meeting and Treas. report read and approved.
The tax levies voted for the ensuing year were:
Revenue fund $400.00
Road and Bridge fund 600.00
By resolution the one mill Poor fund tax was omitted for this year.
The question of the approval of applications for beer licenses was discussed. This matter was left to
the discretion of the Board.
The polls were then declared open and at 4:00 oclock were declared closed. The votes were
canvassed with the following results:
Total number of ballots cast 11
Supervisor: Louis J. Specht 11
Clerk: Kenneth E. Sellon 10
D.W. Bailey 1
