as well as mapping staff, assisted the metering department by accurately documenting the
field data needed for the CIS database.
• Staff was present for the energizing of Waco Bank#2 transformer and installed the new
substation meter.
• Staff continues to perform meter audits throughout the system. We are making plans and
preparations for the upcoming transition to multiple billing cycles. Metering department
will need to reprogram 500+meters over the next few months.
• The power plant staff did the monthly engine run in the last week of September. All
engines ran well with no problems.
• Mapping department continues to enter GPS points and attribute points for all of our
systems assets within the ESRI ArcView GIS system.
• Attended the NISC Member Information Conference in St. Louis, MO September 25-28.
Found many useful and informative sessions relating to engineering, operations&
metering. I will be further investigating the iVue AppSuite over the course of the next
year to see how we can benefit from all this product has to offer.
