SUBJECT: Consider Canceling December 27,1999,
City Council Meeting
.
Traditionally the City Council does not meet on the fourth Monday of
December between the Christmas and New Year's holidays. The fourth
Monday of the month is a regular City Council meeting date so if the council is
not planning to meet on December 27, 1999, they should formally pass a
motion canceling this meeting. Check registers and agenda items have been
arranged so that the December 27 meeting is not necessary. If this meeting is
canceled, the next City Council meeting will be January 10, 2000.
Recommendation
It is recommended that the City Council cancel the December 27, 1999, City
Council meeting.
