EXECUTIVE SESSION OF THE ELK RIVER CITY COUNCIL
HELD AT THE ELK RIVER CITY HALL
MONDAY, AUGUST 7, 1995

Mayor Duitsman, Councilmembers Dietz, Scheel, Farber, and
Holmgren
Members Absent:
None

1 . Call Meetina To Order
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof. the meeting of the Executive Session of
the Elk River City Council was called to order at 8: 15 p.m. by Mayor Duitsman.
City Attorney Peter Beck indicated that the Executive Session of the City Council
was called to order to discuss a personnel issue regarding a police employee.
Following discussion of the personnel issue, the following motion was made:
MAYOR DUITSMAN MOVED TO DIRECT THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR TO SEND A NOTICE
OF INTENT TO TERMINATE TO THE OFFICER IN QUESTION. COUNCILMEMBER DIETZ
SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 5-0.

Adiournment
There being no further business, COUNCILMEMBER HOLMGREN MOVED TO
ADJOURN THE EXECUTIVE SESSION OF THE CITY COUNCIL. COUNCILMEMBER
FARBER SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 5-0.
The meeting of the Executive Session of the Elk River City Council was adjourned
at 8:40 p.m.
