06-06-1994 CC MIN - EXECUTIVE e e e EXECUTIVE SESSION OF THE ELK RIVER CITY COUNCIL HELD AT THE ELK RIVER CITY HALL MONDAY, JUNE 6, 1994 Members Present: Mayor Duitsman, Councilmembers Dietz, Scheel, Farber and Holmgren Members Absent: None Staff Present: Peter Beck, City Attorney; Sandra Thackeray, City Clerk; and Pat Klaers, City Administrator 1. Call Meetinq To Order Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the executive session of the Elk River City Council was called to order at 9: 12 p.m, by Mayor Duitsman. 2. Houlton Assessments The City Attorney reviewed the status of the pending litigation regarding the Bud Houlton assessments resulting from the Western Area project. He indicated no progress has been made as of this date but a request or proposal is expected soon. 3. Hohlen orooerty The City Attorney reviewed the status of the pending litigation regarding the Earl Hohlen property on Main Street and Highway 169. He indicated that this case has been put on hold due to proposed development in the area. The Council discussed several options regarding the issue and authorized the City Attorney to proceed as discussed by the City Council. 4. Adiournment COUNCllMEMBER SCHEEL MOVED TO ADJOURN THE EXECUTIVE SESSION OF THE CITY COUNCil. COUNCllMEMBER FARBER SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 5-0.
