EXECUTIVE SESSION OF THE ELK RIVER CITY COUNCIL
HELD AT THE ELK RIVER CITY HALL
MONDAY, OCTOBER 24, 1994

1 . Call Meetinq To Order
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof. the Executive Session of the City Council
was called to order at 6:03 p.m. by Mayor Duitsman.
8.2. Pendinq IitiQation of Hohlen property
City Attorney Peter Beck updated the Council on the pending litigation of the
Hohlen property in relation to the Main Street and Highway 169 project.
8.3. PendinQ IitiQation of Houlton Farms
City Attorney Peter Beck updated the Council on the pending litigation of
Houlton Farms in relation to the Western Area assessment.
The City Attorney indicated he would update the Council on these issues in two
weeks.
It was the consensus of the Council to postpone discussion on item 8.1 until the
regular City Council meeting adjourned.
The Council recessed at 6: 15 p.m. The Council reconvened the executive session
at 8:48 p.m. following adjournment of the regular City Council meeting.
8.1. Review Police Union WaQes and Benefits reQuest for 1995-96
The City Administrator reviewed the 1995-96 Elk River Police Department Union
Contract Proposal. The City Council discussed each issue and authorized the City
Administrator to relay the Council's response to the Police Union.
here being no further business, COUNCILMEMBER SCHEEL MOVED TO ADJOURN.
COUNCILMEMBER DIETZ SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 5-0.
The executive meeting of the City Council adjourned at 9:35 p.m.
