SPECIAL MEETING OF THE ELK RIVER CITY COUNCIL
HELD AT THE ELK RIVER CITY HALL
THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 10, 1994

1. Call Meetina To Order
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof. the special meeting of the Elk River City
Council was called to order at 5:36 p.m. by Mayor Duitsman.
2. Consider 11 /l 0/94 City Council Aaenda
COUNCILMEMBER DIETZ MOVED TO APPROVE THE NOVEMBER 10, 1994, CITY
COUNCIL AGENDA. COUNCILMEMBER HOLMGREN SECONDED THE MOTION. THE
MOTION CARRIED 3-0.

Consider Resolution Canvassinq 11/8/94 General Election Results

Mayor Duitsman stated that it was necessary for the City Council to act as the
Board of Canvass and to canvass the municipal general election results. The City
Council reviewed the election results as prepared by the City Clerk. The City
Administrator noted that the percent of registered voters voting on election day
were as follows:
Ward 1 - 66% Ward 2 - 63%
Ward 3 - 59% Ward 4 - 59%
TOTAL - 62%
COUNCILMEMBER HOLMGREN MOVED TO ADOPT RESOLUTION 94-117, A
RESOLUTION CANVASSING THE NOVEMBER 8, 1994, MUNICIPAL GENERAL ELECTION
RESULTS. COUNCILMEMBER DIETZ SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED
3-0.
4. Adiournment
There being no further business. COUNCILMEMBER DIETZ MOVED TO ADJOURN THE
MEETING. COUNCILMEMBER HOLMGREN SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION
CARRIED 3-0.
The meeting of the Elk River City Council was adjourned at 5:42 p.m.
