EXECUTIVE SESSION OF THE ELK RIVER CITY COUNCIL
HELD AT THE ELK RIVER CITY HALL

1 . Call Meetina To Order
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the Executive Session of the Elk River City
Council was called to order at 9:00 p.m. by Mayor Duitsman.
2. Consider Pendina Litiaation of Houlton Farms
Mayor Duitsman updated the Council on discussions he has had with Bud Houlton
regarding the pending litigation of Houlton Farms in relation to the Western Area
Phase I assessments.

Elk River Police Deoartment Union Contract Prooosal
City Administrator Pat Klaers presented the negotiated 1995-96 Police Union
Contract to the City Council for discussion and review.
COUNCILMEMBER HOLMGREN MOVED TO APPROVE THE 1995-95 POLICE UNION
CONTRACT AS PRESENTED. THE MOTION CARRIED 3-2. COUNCILMEMBER DIETZ AND
MAYOR DUITSMAN OPPOSED.
4. Adiournment
There being no further business, COUNCILMEMBER SCHEEL MOVED TO ADJOURN
THE MEETING. COUNCILMEMBER HOLMGREN SECONDED THE MOTION. THE
MOTION CARRIED 5-0.
The Executive Session of the Elk River City Council was adjourned at 9:30 p.m.
