March 18, 1944
The Board of the Town of Elk River met for organization with all members present.

Orville Bernard took oath of office as Supervisor for term of three years. Kenneth E. Sellon took
oath of office as Clerk for term of two years. Bond of Kenneth E. Sellon with \[word missing?\] as
sureties accepted.
Louis J. Specht was elected as chairman for the ensuing year.
