ELK RIVER TOWN BOARD MEETING
May 6, 1944
The Board of the Town of Elk River met in regular session with all members present.

The matter of reimbursing Ramsey county for relief granted the Sharp family was discussed and the
Clerk instructed to get a verified bill from Ramsey county.
Emil Hoffman and Louis Hinz appeared before the Board in regard to the Hoffman road petition.
Petition was taken from the table and approved by the Board. Damages due Louis Hinz were agreed
upon and set at fifty dollars ($50.00). Emil Hoffman presented check payable to E.G. Palmer, Treas.
for the above amount. Clerk was instructed to prepare all the necessary forms. It was agreed to get
Vic Corron to build the road if possible and Louis J. Specht instructed to contact Mr. Corron.
