EXECUTIVE MEETING OF THE ELK RIVER CITY COUNCIL
HELD AT THE ELK RIVER CITY HALL
MONDAY, FEBRUARY 22, 1993

Mayor Duitsman, Councilmembers Scheel, Farber, Dietz
and Holmgren
Members Absent:
None

1. Call Meeting To Order
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the meeting of the Executive
Session was called to order at 9:31 p.m., by Mayor Duitsman.

Discussion
The City Administrator reviewed the background on Police Union
negotiations for the City Council. Discussion was held regarding the
longevity issue and alternatives to the longevity issue pertaining to
Wage Incentive Programs. The Council came to no decision regarding
longevity or Wage Incentive Programs and suggested that the City
Administrator cancel the planned Union meeting.
COUNCILMEMBER HOLMGREN MOVED TO CALL AN EXECUTIVE SESSION OF THE CITY
COUNCIL ON MARCH 1, AT 6:00 P.M., TO FURTHER DISCUSS POLICE UNION
NEGOTIATIONS. COUNCILMEMBER FARBER SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION
CARRIED 5-0.
3. Adjournment
COUNCILMEMBER FARBER MOVED TO ADJOURN THE EXECUTIVE SESSION.
COUNCILMEMBER HOLMGREN SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 5-0.
The Executive Session of the Elk River City Council adjourned at 10:40 p.m.
