ELK RIVER TOWN BOARD MEETING
March 22, 1947*
The Board of the Twp. of Elk River met as Board of Organization. Oscar Engstrom was absent.

Orville Bernard took oath as Supervisor for three years. E.G. Palmer took oath as Treas. for two
years and furnished bonds in the amount of one thousand dollars with William Schwanbeck and
Harry W. Nystrom as bondsmen, and A.L. Powell took oath as Assessor for two years and furnished
bonds in the amount of five hundred dollars with Walter Malmstrom and Glenn W. Powell as
bondsmen.
Everett L. Specht, as senior member of the Board, was chosen as Chairman.
