EXECUTIVE SESSION OF THE ELK RIVER CITY COUNCIL
HELD AT THE ELK RIVER CITY HALL
MONDAY, AUGUST 16, 1993
Members Present:
Mayor Duitsman, Councilmembers Dietz, Scheel, Farber,
and Holmgren
Members Absent:
None
Staff Present:
Peter Beck, City Attorney; Terry Maurer, City Engineer;
Sandra Thackeray, City Clerk
Mayor Duitsman called the meeting of the Executive Session to order at 6:42
p.m.
Peter Beck, city Attorney stated that the purpose of the Executive Session
was to talk about the condemnation of the Hohlen property located at Highway
169 and Main Street. Terry Maurer, City Engineer, and Peter Beck reviewed
the issues involved in the pending litigation.
The City Council directed the City Attorney to proceed with negotiations
with Mr. Hohlen to see if a settlement could be reached.
There being no further business, COUNCILMEMBER HOLMGREN MOVED TO ADJOURN THE
MEETING. COUNCILMEMBER FARBER SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 5-0.
The Executive Session of the Elk River City Council adjourned at 6:53 p.m.
