EXECUTIVE SESSION OF THE ELK RIVER CITY COUNCIL
HELD AT THE ELK RIVER CITY HALL
MONDAY, OCTOBER 18, 1993

and Holmgren

Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the Executive Session of the Elk
River City Council was called to order at 8:07 p.m. by Mayor Duitsman.
The purpose of the Executive Session was to discuss pending litigation of
Houlton Farms and of the Hohlen property.
City Attorney Peter Beck updated the Council on the pending litigation of
the Houlton Farms, Inc., in relation to the 1992 western area improvement
project. He stated that no court hearing has been set and that negotiations
will continue between Bud Houlton and the City.
Peter Beck updated the Council on the pending Earl Hohlen litigation. He
indicated that no progress has been made on this litigation case. He
further indicated he would keep the Council informed as to any future
progress.
COUNCILMEMBER SCHEEL MOVED TO ADJOURN THE MEETING OF THE EXECUTIVE SESSION.
COUNCILMEMBER FARBER SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 5-0.
The meeting of the Executive Session adjourned at 8:16 p.m.
