1. Call Meeting To Order
Following the Economic Development Authority meeting, Mayor Tralle
called the meeting of the Elk River City Council to order at 7:55 p.m.

4. Consider On-Sale 3.2 Beer License for Lion's Club
The City Clerk indicated that the Lion's Club has requested a temporary
On-Sale 3.2 Beer License to sell beer during the softball tournament at
the Orono Softball fields during the weekend of July 17-19.
COUNCILMEMBER SCHULDT MOVED TO APPROVE THE TEMPORARY ON-SALE 3.2 BEER
LICENSE FOR THE LION'S CLUB TO SELL BEER DURING THE SOFTBALL TOURNAMENT
FROM JULY 17-19. COUNCILMEMBER DIETZ SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION
CARRIED 5-0.
5. Other Business
Pat Klaers reviewed the memo from the Street/Park Superintendent dated
July 9, 1992, which listed the June project update and the July project
schedule for the street department.
Pat Klaers informed the Council that a verbal understanding has been
reached with NSP regarding the seal coating cost of 165th Avenue. He
stated that it has been agreed that the cost will be split between the
City and NSP. He noted that the public hearing will be tabled for two
weeks until the documents are signed regarding this agreement.

The City Administrator indicated that Jeff Asfahl has requested that
some of the expenditures he is paying for the house he is renting
regarding upkeep be financed by the City. It was the consensus of the
Council to authorize the City Administrator to pay for some of the
expenditures using his discretion.
The City Administrator informed the Council that Phil Hals
applying for a LAWCON Grant for the Woodland Trails Park.
