Councilmember Westgaard introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
Resolution 17-80
A Resolution of the City of Elk River Approving Notice of Summary Publication of
Ordinance #17-29 an Ordinance Adopting the 2018 Master Fee Schedule
WHEREAS, on December 4, 2017 the Elk River City Council adopted Ordinance 17-29 approving
the 2018 Master Fee Schedule; and
WHEREAS, the enactment of this ordinance establishes fees and charges required by the City Code
and to comply with Minnesota Statutes 462.353, sub.4; and
WHEREAS, the 2018 Master Fee Schedule lists fees and charges for Administrative, Financial,
Environmental, Planning, Development, Building, Parks and Recreation, Fire, Police, and Elk River
Municipal Utility services along with code enforcement violations; and
WHEREAS, a copy of the full text of the ordinance is available for inspection by any person at the
Office of the City Clerk, City of Elk River, 13065 Orono Parkway, during regular business hours — 8:00
a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elk River,
Minnesota, as follows: by at least four-fifths vote, authorizes the publication of the title and summary
of Ordinance 17-29 and that Ordinance 17-29 shall become effective January 1, 2018.
The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Olsen, and
upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Dietz, Councilmembers
Olsen, Westgaard. Ovall, and Wagner and the following against: None
, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
