DISCUSSION:
• Had 8 new house services.
• Continue working on collecting data with the GPS for our ArcView maps as time permits.
• Continue working in Connexus acquisition Areas 3&4.
• With the freeze up, installation of the underground wire in areas 5&6 heading north of the
Waco substation will be put on hold until spring when the frost goes out. We are still
working on making up the boxes that were installed prior to the frost.
• Finished removing a three phase junction box and installing a single phase fuse pad at the
Tall Pines Addition on 183rd Circle. The underground infrastructure in the project itself
will be installed in the spring.
• Continue rebuilding the overhead line south of 197th Avenue to 190 %2 Lane on the east
side of Highway 169. Finished the underground part of this line that was installed from
193rd Avenue to 190 %2 Lane. The overhead wire has also been removed from this section.
• Installed some underground infrastructure in Trace Heights 2nd Addition. Work will
continue on this project this spring when the frost comes out. This development is south
of County Road 33 on Yale Street.
• Did our annual inventory count of materials; the preliminary numbers look good.
• Carr's tree trimming service is helping out with tree trimming this year to help get caught
up with the areas we acquired from Connexus. We are also getting ready to trim trees.
• Tom Geiser and I attended the Technical & Operations conference that Minnesota
Municipal Utilities Association (MMUA)held in St. Cloud,MN. Some of the sessions I
attended were: Become the Leader People Want to Follow; Active Threat Preparedness
&Verbal De-escalation for the Workplace; Mindset of a Cyber Attacker, Communicating
the Value of Reliability; and an MMUA update.
• Curt Wark, Jared Rolstad and Jake Koehler attended the MMUA Transformer School
December 13-15 in Marshall, MN.
• Inventory Person Ben Elsenpeter gave notice; his final day was December 31.After re-
evaluation of the position and ERMU's needs, a job opening was posted for an Inventory
&Procurement Foreperson. The posting will close on January 19.
