DISCUSSION:
• Delivered six new water meters.
• Sealed the water meter, and took curb stop ties from nine water services.
• Completed 25 BACTI/Total Chlorine Residual Samples
o All confirmed negative for Coliform Bacteria.
o Bacteriological/Disinfectant Residual Monthly Report submitted to the MDH
• Completed 20 routine fluoride samples
o All samples met MDH standards.
o Submitted MDH Fluoride Report
• Submitted MPCA Discharge Monitoring Report(DMR)for the Water Treatment Plants
• Submitted MPCA Discharge Monitoring Report(DMR) for the Diesel Generation Plant
• The water operators have spent considerable time preparing WTP#5 for the sandblasting
and painting that will take place in February.
• The water operators have continued with our annual routine of recharging the filters.
WTP #6 and WTP#2 are back up and running after media was added. WTP #3 will get
recharged in January.
• I have assumed the duties and responsibilities as the President of the Suburban Utilities
Superintendents Association. I will hold this position throughout 2018.
