PRSR 01-10-2018 , ,i Request for Action River To Item Number Parks and Recreation Commission 5.1 Agenda Section Meeting Date Prepared by Action Item January 10, 2018 Michael Hecker,Parks and Recreation Director Item Description Reviewed by Parks and Recreation Commission 2018 Calendar Reviewed by Action Requested Discussion of the Parks and Recreation Commission meeting schedule for 2018 Recommend,by motion, the Parks and Recreation Meeting Schedule to meet the second Wednesday of each month at 6:30 pm during the year 2018,except for October and February. The October meeting will be Wednesday, October 17,2018. The February meeting will become Wednesday,February 7,2018 Background/Discussion The Parks and Recreation Commission reviewed and approved the 2018 meeting schedule calendar at the December 13 meeting. One change was discussed and approved to move the October meeting date to Wednesday, October 17,2018. A few Commission members after the December meeting contacted staff and preferred that the February meeting date of February 14,2017 be moved because it is on Valentine's Day. Staff is recommending that the February meeting date become Wednesday,February 7, 2018. This works best for the City Planning staff.
