A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Elk River Approving
Application to Conduct Annual Off -Site Gambling for Elk River Lions Club
WHEREAS, the Elk River Lions Club has made application to the State Gambling
Control Board to conduct off-site gambling; and
WHEREAS, Minnesota's Lawful Gambling regulations require applicants to obtain
acknowledgment and approval by resolution from the city in which gambling events are
being held; and
WHEREAS, approval of the application would allow the Elk River Lions Club to conduct
gambling at Shiver Elk River February 10, 2018.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elk
River, Minnesota, as follows: the City Council hereby acknowledges and approves the
application by the Elk River Lions Club to conduct off-site gambling.
