Background/Discussion
After the last board meeting I was asked to check into changing the hand dryers in the restrooms to
more powerful ones and also changing the locations of them. The first thing we did was have our
electrician inspect them to make sure they were working properly, which they are. Then after doing some
research I found that the dryers were specifically designed to comply with our LEED certification and by
moving and replacing them it would be very costly and most importantly would compromise our LEED
certification status. Therefor I would prefer that the dryers remain as they are.
As far as the rest of the facility goes, we have had a few minor issues with the HVAC system but repairs
were made quickly without any service interruptions. Also in the next few weeks we will be re-evaluating
cleaning services and sending out new requests for proposals for those services.
