PROCEEDINGS OF THE ANNUAL TOWN MEETING
TOWN OF ELK RIVER
March 10, 1953
The Annual meeting of the Town Board of Elk River was called to order by Moderator,
Mrs. A.L. Powell.
The Treas. read his report from March 1952 to 1953. Approved as read.
It was moved and seconded that $1000 be taken from the Revenue Fund and transferred to the
Road and Bridge Fund. Carried.
It was moved and seconded that $2000 was voted for the Road and Bridge Fund. Carried.
No Revenue Fund was voted.
Election was held for Treasurer for two years, Supervisor for 3 years, and Assessor for 2 years.
Ballots were declared open until 4 p.m.
