ELK RIVER TOWN BOARD MEETING
September 1, 1955
The town board of Elk River met in regular session at the home of Everett Specht. All members
present.

The following business was taken care of. The board approved the petition for a road into land
owned by J D Scott, Bob Glidden & Rootes. It was decided to settle with August Oberg for a right
of way along his west line. It was agreed that the proposed road be surveyed should be done by the
County Engineers office. An agreement was given be \[sic\] J D Scott for a four rod road across his
property for road purposes. The board approved speed limit signs along old highway to ball park.
