MINUTES OF THE ELK RIVER CITY COUNCIL
HELD AT THE ELK RIVER PUBLIC LIBRARY
CLOSED SESSION OF THE COUNCIL
MONDAY, MARCH 18, 1991
Members Present:
Mayor Tralle, Councilmembers Schuldt, Kropuenske, Dietz,
and Holmgren
Staff Present:
Pat Klaers, City Administrator; Bill Rubin, Economic
Development Coordinator; Mike Mulrooney, Economic
Development Consultant; Tim Keane, City Attorney; Sandy
Thackeray, City Clerk
Mayor Tralle called the meeting of the Elk River City Council to order at
6: 20 p. m. He explained that the meeting was a closed meeting for the
purpose of discussing potential Ii tigation in the matter of Roma Tool and
the outstanding loan of approximately $500,000.
After discussion of the above topic, Council directed Staff to set up a
meeting with Milo Hennemen and his attorney with City Staff and 2 Council
representatives to discuss options given for payment of the outstanding loan.
There being no further business, CQUNCILMEMBER HOLMGREN MOVED TO ADJOURN THE
MEETING. COUNCILMEMBER KROPUENSKE SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED
5-0.
The closed meeting of the City Council adjourned at 7:08 p.m.
This meeting has been tape recorded. The tape of the meeting will be kept
on file by the City Clerk for one year.
