River City Council was called t.o order by Mayor Tralle at 6:12 p.m.

COUNCILMEMBER KROPUENSKE MOVED TO APPROVE THE 5/6/91 COUNCIL AGENDA.
COllNCILMEMBER DIETZ SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 5-0.

Discussion was held by the Council regarding an offer submitted by Roma
Tool and Plastics to restructure the 1986 Economic Recovery Grant.
COllNCILMEMBER HOLMGREN MOVED TO RE.TECT THE OFFER SUBMITTED BY ROMA TOOL
AND PLASTICS AND TO DIRECT THE MAYOR AND COUNCILMEMBER DIETZ TO MEET
WITH REPRESENTATIVES OF ROMA TOOL TO DISCUSS OTHER PROPOSALS FOR
PURPOSES OF RECOMMENDING A RESTRUCTURING OFFER TO THE COUNCIL THAT IS
ACCEPTABLE TO BOTH PARTIES AND THE STATE. COUNCILMEMBER SCHULDT
SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTtoN CARRIED 5-0.
Couneilmember Kropuenske indicated that although he is an officer and
stockholder of the lending institution of which Roma Tool is a
customer, he voted on the issue because it is a very important
communi t.y issue and further that. he does not feel it is a conflict of
interest.
There being no further business, COUNCILMEMBER HOLMGREN MOVED TO
ADJOURN THE MEETING. COUNCILMEMBER SCHULDT SECONDED THE MOTION. THE
MOTION CARRIED 5-0.
