Adopt,by motion, a resolution acknowledging a donation from HealthPartners for the Farmers Market
Power of Produce program.
Background/Discussion
This resolution acknowledges and accepts a donation of$1,500 from HealthPartners for the Farmers
Market Power of Produce program.
The program will run from July 12 through August 30 allowing children 4-12 years old to receive a$2
token each week to purchase produce of their own choice. We will have their logo on all Power of
Produce material and they will also provide merchandise to distribute during the duration of the program.
This will be the second year the Farmers Market hosted this program.

Resolution 18-
A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Elk River Acknowledging
Contributions
WHEREAS, the City of Elk River is grateful to all civic groups, organizations, and
individuals for their contributions to the community; and
WHEREAS, the City of Elk River received a$1,500 total donation from HealthPartners
with the intent it be used by Parks and Recreation Department for the Elk River Farmers
Market Power of Produce Program.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council,by at least four-fifths
vote, to acknowledge the support and commend HealthPartners for their donation.
The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember
, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof-

resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
