Approve by motion,purchase of the replacement lift station truck in the amount of$128,398.
Background/Discussion
The 2003 Ford F550 lift station truck was scheduled to be replaced this year with a 2018 Ford F550 truck
and hoist. This heavily used equipment is required for operations of our 21 lift stations.
The vehicle was budgeted for replacement in the 2017 Wastewater budget. The state contract price for
the 2018 chassis and the hoist was listed as $128,398.
Staff requests approval to proceed with purchasing the replacement truck and hoist at a cost of$128,398.
Financial Impact
The vehicle is funded through the Wastewater Enterprise Fund.
