• Discuss the appointment of a Commission member to the Ice Arena Commission
• Recommend,by motion,a Commission member to the Ice Arena Commission.
Background/Discussion
The Parks and Recreation Commission representative seat on the Ice Arena Commission is currently
vacant. Gunther Sagan was the representative since November 2016. City Code dictates the Arena
Commission to have a Parks and Recreation Commission member. New Commission Member Dave
Williams has expressed interest to serve on the Ice Arena Commission.
The Arena Commission only has two regulars meetings and usually 1-2 special meetings per year. City
Council will need to approve the recommended Commissioner.
