Mayor Gunkel indicated that this Board of Review meeting was a continuation of
the May 11. 1988. Board of Review meeting. She indicated there were two
properties which the assessor was authorized to reappraise.
David Shappell - 9325 164th Lane - 117-000-134105
Mayor Gunkel indicated that David Shappell had disputed that his property
value was too high because of the industrial activity around his property.
John Cullen. Residential Appraiser. indicated that he had reinspected this
property on May 17. 1988. and the value has been reduced from $79.100 to
$72.900 due to the locational factor of the industrial property surrounding
his property.
e
It was the consensus of the Board of Review that no action was necessary as
Mr. Shappell was not present and it was assumed that he was in agreement
with the findings of the Residential Assessor.
Dick and Kathy Pomeroy - 13939 189th Ave. NW - 115-410-010080.

Mayor Gunkel indicated that Mr. & Mrs. Pomeroy disputed the valuation of their
property due to the surrounding homes in the area being of much lower value
than their home.
Residential Appraiser. John Cullen. indicated that he had inspected the house
and found no reason to lower the valuation due to the surroundings of the
home. He did. however. indicate that there has been physical depreciation
to the inside of the home. resulting in a decrease of valuation from $94.400
to $88.300.
It was the consensus of the Board of Review that no action was necessary due
