SUBJECT: Consider Hiring Full Time Recreation Coordinator
We have completed interviewing for the Recreation Coordinator position, There were
almost 100 applicants, We interviewed five candidates and are recommending the hiring of
Ross Demant for the position, Ross would begin the position at Pay Grade 8, Step C. As a
40-hour employee, he would also be eligible for holiday, sick and vacation pay as well as
PERA,
Ross has five years of experience working for Duluth Parks and Recreation with very similar
responsibilities, He lives in the City of Becker with his family,
Ross is available to being work April 5th, upon approval from the City Council, I believe
Ross would be an excellent employee and a great fit in the Parks and Recreation
Department,
