SPECIAL MEETING OF THE ELK RIVER CITY COUNCIL

1. Pursuant to due call and notice thereof. the meeting of the Elk River City
Council was called to order at 6:15 p.m. by Mayor Gunkel.

7.2.Consideration of Community Development Coordinator List
The City Administrator indicated that the Community Development
Coordinator applicants have been narrowed down to three which will be
interviewed by the City Council on October 22, 1987.
Discussion was held regarding the Special Meeting called for Tuesday,
7:00 p.m. October 20, 1987, for the purpose of meeting with the Main
Street merchants to discuss downtown amenities.
COUNCILMEMBER DOBEL MOVED TO BEGIN THE PREVIOUSLY SCHEDULED SPECIAL
COUNCIL MEETING AT 6:00 P.M. SO THAT THE COUNCIL AND STAFF COULD REVIEW
THE ISSUES TO BE DISCUSSED AT THE MAIN STREET MEETING. AND THAT THIS TIME
CHANGE WOULD BE POSTED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE OPEN MEETING LAW.
COUNCILMEMBER SCHULDT SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 3-0.
