(1)Rita Johnson was selected to organize an area conference due to the success of the Tax Base
seminar help in 1992.
Reviewed the Rules And Procedure document. Special discussion was paid to the Conflict of Interest
section.
Discussed potential MPA/MnAPA involvement. The MPA has a seminar in Willmar on April 14.
Reviewed 1992 Goals as follows:
Goal: Visit other surrounding communities Planning Commissions.
Status: Partially completed. Several members attended other meetings.
Goal: Along with City Council, improve communications to the public.
Status: Continually addressing this issue. However, agendas of upcoming meetings are posted
around the community.
Goal: Arrange 2 joint meetings with City Council
Status: Had 1 meeting.
Goal: Attend Training
Status: Complete
Goal: Review Downtown Plan
Status: Not Complete
