A Resolution of the City of Elk River Approving Notice of Summary
Publication of Ordinance #18-.04 an Ordinance Amending Chapter 38, Article
VIII, PeddVer°s Solicitors, Transient Merchants, and Mobile Food Units of the
City of Elk River, Minnesota, City Code
WHEREAS, on April 2, 2018, the Elk River City Council adopted Ordinance 18-0/
amending Chapter 38, Article VIII, of the Elk River Code of Ordinances regarding mobile
food unit (food trucks) regulation and licensing; and
WHEREAS, the Ordinance allows mobile food units to operate in the City of Elk River
and outlines the requirements for licensing and regulation for operation, including permitted
locations, hours, and fees.
WHEREAS, a copy of the full text of the ordinance is available for inspection by any
person at the office of the Elk River City Clerk, 13065 Orono Parkway, during regular
business hours; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council, by at least four-fifths
vote, authorizes the publication of the title and summary of Ordinance 18- o4 .
The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember
Westgaard , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof. -
