RESOLUTION NO. 05-02
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ELK RIVER PLANNING
COMMISSION FINDING THAT THE SHERBURNE COUNTY
HOUSING AND REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY'S
REDEVELOPMENT PROGRAM FOR REDEVELOPMENT DISTRICT
NO. I AND PROJECT PLAN FOR THE TARGET TECHNOLOGY
CENTER CONFORM TO THE GENERAL PLANS FOR THE
DEVELOPMENT AND REDEVELOPMENT OF THE CITY OF ELK
RIVER.
WHEREAS,the Housing and Redevelopment Authority for Sherburne County,Minnesota,
(the "HRA") has proposed to adopt a Redevelopment Program for Redevelopment District No. 1
(the "Redevelopment Program") and a Project Plan for the Target Technology Center (the
"Project Plan") therefor (the Redevelopment Program and the Project Plan are referred to
collectively herein as the "Program and Plan") and has submitted the Program and Plan to the Elk
River City Planning Commission (the "Commission") pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Section
469.027 and 469.028
WHEREAS, the Commission has reviewed the Program and Plan to determine their
conformity with the general plans for the development and redevelopment of the City as
described in the comprehensive plan for the City and if they will afford the City maximum
opportunity, consistent with the needs of the City, for the development of the area by private
enterprise.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Commission that the Program and Plan
conforms to the general plans for the development and redevelopment of the City as a whole and
specifically the applicable findings required by Mi�=sota Statue 469.027 and 469.028 Subd 2.
