SUBJECT: FOLLOW UP ACTION TO BUSINESS
PARK REZONING
OVERVIEW
If the City Council approves Ordinance 94-_ rezoning the described
properties to BP (Business Park), there will be five (5) remaining actions that
should take place to provide complete consistency between the land use plan
and zoning map. These five actions are illustrated on the attached land use
plan map and zoning map:
• 1. Amend the land use plan from HB (Highway Business) to LI
(Light Industrial) to be consistent with the BP (Business Park)
zoning designation.
2. Amend the land use plan from LI (Light Industrial) to MR
(Medium Density Residential) to be consistent with the zoning
map.
3. Amend the land use plan designation from P (Public) to LI
(Light Industrial) to be consistent with the BP (Business Park)
zoning designation.
4. Amend the land use plan map to a MR (Medium Density
Residential) land use designation to be consistent with the BP
(Business Park) zoning designation and Country Ridge
Partnership's proposal for townhomes.
5. Rezone area from PUD (Planned Unit Development) to Rlc
(Single Family Residential) to be consistent with the
comprehensive land use plan map.

II REQUEST
These five actions can either be initiated by the City Council or each of these
actions will occur at the time each of the property owners decide to develop
their property. If the City Council decides to initiate these applications at
this time, the land use plan and zoning maps will be consistent with one
another and eliminate any confusion that may arise with future development
proposals.
Therefore, it is recommended the City Council consider initiating the
necessary applications to address the five points mentioned above and
illustrated on the attached maps to provide consistency between the land use
and zoning maps.
