ACTION REQUESTED:

DISCUSSION:
• Delivered five new water meters.
• Sealed the water meter, and took curb stop ties from five water services.
• Completed 25 BACTI/Total Chlorine Residual Samples
o All confirmed negative for Coliform Bacteria
o Bacteriological/Disinfectant Residual Monthly Report submitted to the MDH
• Completed 20 routine fluoride samples
o All samples met MDH standards.
o Submitted MDH Fluoride Report
• Submitted MPCA Discharge Monitoring Report (DMR) for the Diesel Generation Plant
• The filter reconditioning has been completed for WTP #5. The well has been put back
into service. We will be pulling Well #9 for scheduled maintenance in early April.
• We have been working with St. Andrews church on their water quality issue. We believe
that the problem has been resolved. They had heavy iron and manganese build up in their
service line.
• We are hoping to get the new Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) for Well#8 installed in
April. The old VFD suffered a catastrophic failure late last year.
• The water operators continue to perform annual maintenance on the water treatment
plants.
