I cannot attend this evenings meeting tonight but have for you this letter
that talks about two areas of concerrf that With other residdnts and myself would like to
mention. They are:
1. Crossover
_ . 7'ite5 Veen concerned with this issue for years and time has run out.
• We need to work toaether on providing our children & residents a safe access over
highway 169 around the area bf Deerfield & residents. Best location would be south
oflthe water tower, crossover, end up between Perkins and highway dept. service
center.
2. Trees
l Would like to recommend that any set of plans over$300,000.00 shall
be reviewed by the county tree board to help preserve our trees, environment. If you
look up highway 169, and look at our futurelMenards sight, theirs not a single tred left
on that hole sidht. Even though tree's don't pay taxes,rwe end up paving for the
damages through settling ponds for rain watdr rLUn off. (big ticket item With the MPCA)
carbon monoxide orobletns. and scaring our environm'erft were Country and City
Flow Together.
