SUBJECT: Conditional Use Permit Request
to Operate a Motor Vehicle Service
Station, Public Hearing Case No.
CU 96-25
Holiday Companies is requesting a conditional use permit to operate a motor
vehicle service station at the northeast corner of School Street and Freeport
Avenue. The Holiday plans have been tracking on a parallel path along with
the proposed plat (Heying Addition) for the school district's administration
office property. The plat is scheduled to be presented to the City Council for
action in January. Due to the timing of this plat and some of the
• modifications that may be incorporated into the plat, Holiday has asked that
their item be postponed until the January 28th Planning Commission
meeting. Staff will continue to work with Holiday is resolving issues that
have already been raised by the Planning Commission.
Recommendation
It is recommended the Planning Commission postpone Case No. CU 96-25
until the January 28, 1997 Planning Commission meeting.
