Issue
Pinnacle Foods, L.P. is requesting a conditional use permit to amend the Elk
River Retail Planned Unit Development Agreement to install a 70 foot high
structure.
Location
• The northeast corner of Elk Hills Drive and U.S. Highway 169.

Overview
Pinnacle Foods, L.P. request to install a 70 foot high structure is identical to
an application that the Planning Commission and the City Council denied
earlier this year. The applicant has been persistent in wanting to install the
70 foot high structure and has, therefore, re-applied for the same request as
earlier this year.
Attached is staffs report to the Mayor and City Council dated March 17,
1997, addressing the issue before the Planning Commission this evening.

been given to the recent application
Recommendation
The Planning Commission is asked to review the attached memo to the
Mayor and City Council regarding the issue to install a 70 foot high structure
and make a recommendation to the City Council.
If the Planning Commission has specific questions or would like specific
information for the meeting Tuesday night, please contact me so that can be
made available.
