Park of the Month Update
Attached for your review, is a copy of the Park of the Month Progress Chart.
Each month, the Park and Recreation Commission selects several parks for
planning staff to study. Several concepts of each park are developed for the
Park and Recreation Commission to review. The Park and Recreation
IIIICommission reviews the concepts and endorses one or a combination of
several. Once endorsed, the neighborhoods near the park are invited to view
the endorsed concept and make comments.

Dear Homer:
Because of the complexity of the issues related to the Trott Brook Farms
project and the need for additional time for Planning Commission review, the
Commission is extending the 60 day time limit in accordance with Minnesota
• Statute 15.99. The original 60 day time frame was to expire on June 25,
1998; the 60 day extension will run from June 25, 1998 to August 24, 1998.
