SUBJECT: Review Proposed 2000 Planning Commission Workshop
Schedule
Based on the discussion during the March 11, 2000, annual meeting, I am proposing
the following workshop schedule:
April: Review zoning district outline and discuss the possible
combination of single family zoning districts R1 b — R1 e.
May: Review possible tree preservation standards, discuss land use
area studies - North Star Corridor depot site, and northwest
• corner of County Roads 12 and 13.
June: Mobile workshop: visit cluster developments in and around
Stillwater (this will be a Saturday event).
July: Joint meeting with the Park and Recreation Commission.
August: Review a portion of the Comprehensive Plan and issues
relating to recodification.
September: Review a portion of the Comprehensive Plan and zoning issues
relating to recodification.
October: Mobile workshop: visit old plats (this will be a Saturday event).
November: Review zoning issues regarding recodification.
December: Joint meeting with the Heritage Preservation Commission.
The above schedule will preclude the use of workshops for regular items
unless absolutely necessary. I would like to schedule the Saturday events at
this meeting, so please bring your calendars!
