MINUTES OF THE
BOARD OF REVIEW MEETING
HELD AT THE COURTHOUSE
MAY 13, 1980 - 7:30 P.M.
Members Present: Mayor Madsen, Councilmembers Toth and Duitsman
Mr. Ty Bischoff, Chief assessor for Sherburne County and his staff of
appraisers were present to answer questions for interested individuals
regarding the estimated market valuation of their property and the methods
and formulas for figuring the assessed values of the properties.
The following persons appeared at the board of review meeting:

The following persons submitted letters requesting a review of the
estimated market valuations placed on their property: Donald & Joyce
Mansure, Lois Johnson, and Lloyd Barthel.
It was recommended by the Elk River City Council that no action be taken
regarding the requests for estimated market valuation reviews subm~tted
by the persons appearing before the review and those submitting letters
to the board.
Councilman Toth moved approval of the reduction of the estimated market
value for property owner, Ed Bialick, plat and parcel number 115-000-342475
from $68,700 to $61,350. Councilman Duitsman seconded the motion. Motion
passed 3-0.
Councilman Duitsman moved approval of the reduction of the estimated market
value for property owner, Mel Boyd, plat and parc~~number 115-190-010010
and Ken Dehn, plat and parcel number 115-190-010020 from $115,190 to $94,000.
Councilman Toth seconded the motion. Motion passed 3-0.
