SUBJECT: Code Amendments for Zero Lot Line
Developments, Public Bearing Case

Staff is proposing several ordinance amendments related to zero lot line
developments. Staff is currently considering an ordinance which would allow
zero lot developments as a permitted use in both commercial and industrial
zoning districts. A component of the amendment would be to add a definition
for "zero lot line" and also, a definition of "zoning lot". At the April 25, 1995
Planning Commission meeting, staff would like to update the Commission on
the progress of the ordinance amendment and would also request some
feedback on the proposed ideas. If the Planning Commission is comfortable
with staffs direction, an ordinance amendment will be drafted and presented
at the May 23rd Planning Commission meeting.
Recommendation
Staff recommends that this item be continued until the May 23, 1995
Planning Commission meeting.
