SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING
February 10, 1978
5:15 P.M.
Meeting called to order b.1 Mayor Frank Madsen.
Members present: Mayor Madsen, Councilmembers Toth, Duitsman, Engstrom and Otto.
Representatives from Olsen Theilen and Associates, were present to go over
Audit with Council.
$121,000.00 unpaid bills to McCombs-Knutson was discussed.
Money needed to pay sewer contractors is $87,874.85, County can advance $74,000.00.
Motion was made b.1 Councilmember Duitsman and seconded b.1 Councilmember Toth
to borrow $99,000.00 from Bank of Elk River to keep cash flow going.
Mation was made b.1 Councilmember Duitsman and seconded b.1 Councilmember Toth
to transfer funds from town funds if needed. Mayor will transfer funds.
Motion was made b.1 Councilmember Duitsman that all Police Department over-time
be approved by Health &: Safety Cormnittee, and allover-time for the Street
Dept. be approved by the Improvement Cormnittee.
Finance Committee to check all coding monthly.
Question on gas tax refund. To be asked of Auditors.
