Mayor Dietz to read and present plaques to Firefighter Phil Collins and Captain Jeffrey Smith for 30 years
of service.
Background/Discussion
Firefighter Phil Collins and Captain Jeffrey Smith joined the Elk River Fire Department with Firefighter
George Anderson on June 1, 1988.
Firefighter Collins has served in various leadership capacities in the department including holding the
rank of district chief. Captain Smith is currently assigned to Station #1.
