Adopt,by motion, a resolution acknowledging a contribution from State Farm Insurance Kevin Gleitz.
Background/Discussion
State Farm Insurance Kevin Gleitz has contributed funds to support the Elk River Farmers Market
operated by the Parks and Recreation Department.
Attached is a resolution acknowledging and recognizing State Farm Insurance Kevin Gleitz for their
contribution towards the 2018 Elk River Farmers Market.
Financial Impact
The financial contribution is in the amount of$2,000 for the 2018 Farmers Market.

Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved its
adoption:

Resolution 18-
A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Elk River Acknowledging
Contributions
WHEREAS, the City of Elk River is grateful to all civic groups, organizations, and
individuals for their contributions to the community; and
WHEREAS, the City of Elk River received a$2,000 donation from State Farm Insurance
Kevin Gleitz with the intent it be used by the Elk River Parks and Recreation Department
for the 2018 Farmers Market.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council,by at least four-fifths
vote, to acknowledge the support and commend the First National Bank of Elk River for
their donation.
The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember
, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof-
