SPECIAL MEETING
ELK RIVER CITY COUNCIL

July 17, 1974 at 7:00 PM.
A Special Meeting of the Elk River City Council was called to order by Mayor Lundberg
at 7:00 PM. in the Council Chambers of the City Hall for the purpose of opening and
consider bids for and awarding the sale of $260,000.00 G.O. Library Building Bonds
for 1974.
Members were present as follows: Mayor Lundberg, Councilmembers Don Cooper, Tom Hudson
and Robert Syring. Financial Advisor for the Bond Sale Robert Milne in attendance.
7:00 PM. the Mayor preceded to receive and open bids for the sale of said bonds, the
following bids were received.
BIDDER INTEREST RATE AND NET INTEREST COST
See per attached bid tabulation.
Moved by Councilmember Tom Hudson and seconded by Councilmember Don Cooper to award the
sale of the $260,000.00 G.O. Library Building Bond for 1974 to Piper, Jaffery, and Hopwood.
Motion unanimously carried by a vote of 4-0. Voted as follows: Mayor Lundberg, Councilmembers
Hudson, Syring and Cooper. None apposed member absent Councilmember Rose Ann Burke. .
A copy of the Resolution is attached, no further business the meeting adjourned at 7:25 .
