09-23-1974 CC MIN - SPECIAL Special Meeting September 23, 1974, at 7:30 P.M. A special meeting of the Elk River City Council was called to order by mayor Lundberg at 7:30 P.M. on September 23, 1974 in Council Chambers of the City Hall for the purpose of reviewing the plans and specifications of the Off- Sale Liquore Store Building. Members present were as follows: Mayor Lundberg, Councilmembers Cooper, Hudson, Syring, and Burke. Also architect Ron Neujahr was in attendance. Ron Neujahr reviewed the plans and specifications for the Council. One item was noted regarding the need for the sprinkler system. Is it or is it not necessary. Rex Oetinger will be contacted to find out what the State Bldg. Code requirements are. Also the Clerk shall check wiLh the Insurance Agency to find out what the difference in premium would be. Moved by Councilmember Hudson and seconded by Councilmember Syring to accept and approve the plans and specifications for the Off-Sale Liquore Store Building as presented by Ron Neujahr dated September 23, 1974 and to call for bids October 8, 1974 at 2:00 P~M. 1~esday. And the Clerk-Treasurer is instructed to advise of this bid opening in the Sherburne County Star News. Motion unanimously carried by a vote of 5-0. No further business the meeting adjourned at 8:10 P.M.
